Anthology Film Archives' mission is to preserve, exhibit, and promote
the understanding of individual, avant-grade, and classic cinema. Since
1970, Anthology has shown six hundred or more films and video-works each
year, with catalogs and/or contextual documentation. Though the focus
is primarily American, the collections and exhibitions are international
in scope.

and Video Archive is custodian to the largest film archive in the world,
runs the internationally-known National Film Theatre and London Film Festival,

Established in 1984 as the first film museum in Germany, the Deutsches
Filmmuseum preserves all aspects of film and cinematography presenting
it to scholars and the public with festivals, retrospectives, exhibitions,
publications, and events. The Museum houses a cinema, a permanent exhibition
area, a touring exhibition section, collections, and libraries.

Preservation Associates, Hat Creek, California
Film Preservation Associates produces restored editions of vintage films
for DVD and broadcast in the United States and abroad. FPA is successor
to Blackhawk Films (established 1927) and other commercial film collections,
and is closely affiliated with Lobster Films in Paris which engages in
parallel activities with similar resources.

The George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film
preserves and exhibits one of the world's most comprehensive collections
of motion pictures, photography, and the historical technology of those
media. And, through its support of the Selznick School programs, it is
also the national leader in archival moving image conservation training
and education.

The mission of the Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting and
Recorded Sound Division is to collect, preserve, catalog and provide public
access to the entire spectrum of America's moving image and sound recording
heritage. Since 1970, the Library has preserved over 20,000 feature films,
television programs, and short subjects.

The Department of Film and Media at The Museum of Modern Art holds the
strongest international collection of film and media works in the United
States, including all periods and genres of both contemporary and historical
importance; and since 1939, over 700 major film exhibitions have been
